An 8-year-old girl was wounded when a neighbor discharged a gun and the bullet went through the wall of her apartment in the Del Rey area of Los Angeles, authorities said Monday.
The shooting occurred at 2:40 p.m. Sunday at 4734 Slauson Ave. near Braddock Drive, according to a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman.
The victim was taken to a hospital by ambulance and had stable vital signs, he said.
Information on the status of the man who discharged the weapon was not available.
