A vehicle hit a Subway restaurant in an Encino strip mall Monday, but no one was injured.
The crash was reported at 11:53 a.m. at 17277 W. Ventura Blvd., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
There were no extrication issues and no one needed to be taken to a hospital, department spokeswoman Lyndsey Lantz said.
A fire department search and rescue team responded and the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety was summoned to assess the building’s structural integrity.
Utility companies and county public health officials were also notified, Lantz said.
