A 32-year-old woman who died in an unincorporated area of the Antelope Valley near Lancaster, and whose death has been under investigation by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau, was identified Tuesday.
The death was reported around 9 a.m. Nov. 19 at the intersection of 10th Street East and East Avenue E, north of the Lancaster city limit, according to the sheriff’s department.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
She was identified Tuesday by the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner as Iesha Massey, who sustained “sharp force” injuries to her neck.
