A person was found dead along the side of the Santa Monica (10) Freeway in the Pico-Union area Thursday, and was believed to have been a pedestrian.
The body was located about 8:30 a.m. Thursday on the east side of the freeway near Vermont Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
There was no immediate word on the person’s age or gender, nor the cause of death.
