A sedan ran into the side of a business in Moreno Valley Thursday, injuring the car’s two occupants and causing minor damage to the structure.

The crash was reported at 11:25 a.m. Thursday at the CVS Pharmacy at the intersection of Hemlock Avenue and Perris Boulevard, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

The agency stated that several engine crews were sent to the location and discovered the BMW had crunched the south exterior wall of the pharmacy.

No one inside the business was hurt, but the vehicle’s driver and passenger were treated by paramedics at the scene for unspecified minor injuries, officials said.

An ambulance was requested for one of the victims, whose identity wasn’t disclosed, but it was unclear as of 11:50 a.m. whether the party agreed to be transported to nearby Riverside University Medical Center, or opted to seek medical care outside of emergency services.

Though damage to the structure appeared to be light, Moreno Valley Department of Building & Safety inspectors were summoned to take a look.

Sheriff’s deputies were also requested to conduct an investigation and determine what precipitated the crash.

  1. There is no south exterior wall at this CVS. It’s attached to the north of dd’s discounts. You’re welcome.
