A man in his mid-40s was found dead Monday inside a vehicle in the Palms section of Los Angeles, the victim of an apparent gunshot wound to the head.
Police received a call about 8:05 a.m. Monday reporting a shooting in the 10200 block of Washington Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The victim was found inside the vehicle in a parking lot, LAPD Officer Drake Madison said.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
No suspect information was released.
