Crews Tuesday put out a fire that started outside a vacant fourplex in Silver Lake and spread to the inside of the building.
No one was injured in the fire, which was reported at about 12:10 p.m. Tuesday at a two-story structure at 2819 W. Waverly Drive, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Forty-eight firefighters responded and put the blaze out in 30 minutes, department spokeswoman Jennifer Middleton said.
No injuries were reported and the cause was under investigation.
