Two people are hospitalized Friday after they were shot in a drive-by shooting police believe was gang-related in Glassell Park, a neighborhood in northeast Los Angeles.
Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to 3259 Fletcher Drive near Avenue 32 around 12:54 a.m. Friday where they learned five people were sitting in a vehicle when two suspects drove by them and fired several shots into the victims’ vehicle, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service.
Two victims were taken to a hospital, one in critical condition and the second in stable condition, police said.
The suspects drove away from the scene in an unknown direction.
