Two drivers were arrested during a sobriety and driver’s license checkpoint in Jurupa Valley, authorities said Saturday.

The checkpoint was held on Limonite Avenue and Spectrum Center between 9 p.m. Friday and 1 a.m. Saturday, according to the Riverside County Sheriff Department. Officials said 558 vehicles were screened, one field sobriety test was conducted, one driver was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and one driver was arrested for four outstanding warrants — including a warrant for driving under the influence and three warrants for driving on a suspended license.

Additionally, three vehicles were stored or impounded, 14 citations were issued for driving without a valid driver’s license, one citation was issued for driving with a suspended license and five citations were issued for other various violations, according to the department.
