Authorities Monday continued their investigation into the death of a man found near Thousand Palms.
Deputies responded to a report of an unresponsive person at 7:33 a.m. Sunday in the area of Dillon Road and Thousand Palms Canyon Road, according to Sgt. Robert Martinez of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Upon arrival, they found a man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
“There is no evidence of foul play,” Martinez said.
No further information was immediately available.
