Four people have been arrested in connection with an alleged terrorism plot to bomb four Los Angeles-area targets on New Year’s Eve, according to federal authorities, according to a federal complaint obtained by the Associated Press.
According to the AP report, the four were arrested in Lucerne Valley in San Bernardino County and were part of an offshoot of the Pro-Palestinian group Turtle Island Liberation Front.
They were allegedly about to test improvised explosives devices that were to be used in coordinated attacks.
An email to the FBI’s Los Angeles field office was not immediately returned.
