A person who somehow wound up pinned under a truck in Acton died Tuesday.
The victim, described only as a male, was reported to be trapped under a semi, possibly a gravel truck, around 6:35 a.m. in the area of Aliso Canyon Road and BP&L Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
He was pronounced dead at the scene around 7 a.m., the CHP reported.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department personnel were the first to get to the location, but the CHP is investigating the fatality.
