At least one person was killed Monday when a big rig and a sedan collided in the Orange County city of San Clemente near the border with San Diego County.
The crash was reported at 2:34 a.m. at South El Camino Real and Cristianitos Road, according to the California Highway Patrol. It is near the Trestles Beach Trailhead.
The CHP offered few details about the crash, which was listed on the San Diego incident log indicating officers from the Oceanside area were responding.
