One person died after they sustained fatal injuries in a multi-vehicle crash in Palmdale, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department investigators said Tuesday.
The crash was reported at approximately 9:17 p.m. Monday at the intersection of 47th Street East and Avenue R-8 , a Palmdale Station spokesman told City News Service.
The victim was taken to Antelope Valley Medical Center in Lancaster, where they were pronounced dead, Lt. Oscar Martinez confirmed.
The victim’s name, age and gender were not immediately known.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
