A Silver Alert was activated Wednesday on behalf of an at-risk 76-year-old woman last seen in Hollywood.

Nadezhda Poveleyko was last seen at 7 p.m. Tuesday near Fuller Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Poveleyko was described as a 5-foot-2-inch-tall woman weighing 145 pounds with gray hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a white shirt, black pants, and white shoes.

Anyone with information about Poveleyko’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.

The CHP established the Silver Alert program to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of the elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
