A Silver Alert issued for an at-risk 76-year-old woman who was reported missing in Hollywood was deactivated Thursday after she was found.
Nadezhda Poveleyko was last seen at 7 p.m. Tuesday near Fuller Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Poveleyko was described as a 5-foot-2-inch-tall woman weighing 145 pounds with gray hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a white shirt, black pants and white shoes.
The CHP reported Poveleyko was found around 1:06 a.m. Thursday.
The CHP established the Silver Alert program to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of the elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
