Fire Thursday damaged one unit on the second floor of a two-story, boarded-up apartment building in Valley Village, authorities said.
Firefighters dispatched at 8:05 a.m. Thursday to 12828 W. Riverside Drive had the fire out within 20 minutes of their arrival, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
