An investigation was underway into the shooting death of an unidentified person in Lancaster on Christmas Day, and the suspect was at large.
The shooting happened around 1:10 p.m. Thursday in the 1000 block of E. Angela Court. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to detectives with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The victim’s name and age were not immediately available.
It was unclear what prompted the shooting, the agency stated.
