Authorities were asking for the public’s help Thursday in locating a 64-year-old man who went missing in Compton.
Willard King was last seen around 1:15 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of W. 127th Place and Grandee Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
King was described as a 5-feet-10-inch tall Black man, weighing around 214 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a brown sweater, black pants and sandals.
He was believed to have been on foot, sheriff’s officials said.
Authorities urged anyone with information on King’s whereabouts to call the police or 911.
