A pedestrian was struck and killed by a Metrolink train in Industry, authorities announced Tuesday.
Deputies responded shortly before 5:55 p.m. Monday to the 13000 block of Temple Avenue, near Valley Boulevard, to reports regarding a crash involving a Metrolink train and a pedestrian, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics arrived at the location, where they pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The victim’s name was being withheld pending notification of relatives.
