Three people were injured in a wall collapse Wednesday in the unincorporated Lennox area near Inglewood, with one of them requiring extrication.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a reported structure collapse at about 11:50 a.m. Wednesday in the 4900 block of Lennox Boulevard, near the San Diego (405) and Glenn Anderson (105) freeways, according to a department spokeswoman.

It was not immediately clear if the location was a construction site. According to the LAFD, the trapped person was freed by 1:30 p.m. and taken to a hospital. That individual’s condition was not disclosed.

One other patient was taken to a hospital with injuries described as minor and the third patient, who also had minor injuries, declined transport, the spokeswoman said.
