A 38-year-old man was fatally stabbed during an argument in downtown Los Angeles early Saturday.
Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Newton Division responded at 1:42 a.m. Saturday to Seventh and Mateo streets, about a quarter-mile west of the Seventh Street Bridge, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics were called to the scene, where they pronounced the victim dead.
The suspect ran from the scene and is still at large, police said.
The victim’s name was not released.
