A 37-year-old woman who died in a single-vehicle crash in Burbank was identified Thursday.
Gladys Villalobos died of blunt force injuries, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.
Police were called at 12:55 a.m. Wednesday to the intersection of Olive and Pass avenues, east of Warner Bros. Studio, where they found the white sedan overturned and the driver ejected from the car, Burbank Police Lt. Jamal Childs told City News Service.
The Burbank Fire Department responded to the scene, but paramedics could not revive the woman and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Childs said the cause of the crash was under investigation, but preliminary findings suggest unsafe speed likely contributed to the crash.
It was not immediately known if alcohol and/or drugs played a role.
Anyone who witnessed the crash was urged to contact the Burbank Police Department Investigation Division at 818-238-3210.
