Firefighters knocked down a small lumber fire Sunday inside a three-story structure in South Los Angeles.

Firefighters dispatched at 8:34 a.m. Sunday to 4004 S. Broadway Place, near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and the Harbor (110) Freeway, had the fire out within 19 minutes of their arrival, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.

“Firefighters were required to force access into the first floor, where they discovered a small amount of lumber on fire,” the LAFD’s Lyndsey Lantz said.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
