Three people were hospitalized Saturday after a vehicle crashed into the front of a barber shop in Canoga Park.
The crash was reported at 1:45 p.m. Saturday at 7138 N. Shoup Ave., just south of Vanowen Street, according to spokeswoman Jennifer Middleton of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A 35-year-old man and a 30-year-old man were taken to a hospital in serious condition, the latter man with stable vital signs, Middleton said. A 15-year-old boy was taken to a hospital by ambulance with minor injuries.
Firefighters removed the vehicle from the barber shop and a representative from the LA Department of Building and Safety was summoned to assess the damage and the stability of the building, she said.
