Police sought the public’s help Wednesday in locating an at-risk 64-year-old man with dementia who was last seen in the Mar Vista area.

Wayne Burrell was last seen at 5 p.m. Monday near Lincoln and Venice boulevards, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Burrell was described as a 5-feet-9-inch-tall Black man weighing 180 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black-and-white shirt and blue jeans.

Police said Burrell’s family is growing increasingly concerned about his well-being due to his medical condition and is seeking the public’s help in finding him.

Anyone with information about Burrell’s whereabouts was urged to contact the LAPD’s Missing Persons Unit at 213-996-1800. Calls during non-business hours should be directed to 877-527-3247.
