A pedestrian was killed Saturday while trying to run across lanes of the Harbor (110) Freeway in Los Angeles.
The death was reported at 8:33 p.m. Saturday on the northbound 110 Freeway just south of Adams Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A description of the victim was not immediately available.
A witness reported at 8:37 p.m. that the person possibly attempted to run across the freeway lanes, the CHP stated.
A sedan was reported stopped on the right shoulder after the crash.
The CHP issued a SigAlert shutting down all northbound lanes south of Adams and diverting traffic into the toll lanes.
