The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Missing Persons Unit asked for the public’s help Tuesday locating an at-risk 61-year old man who authorities said is dependent on medication and was last seen in Azusa.

Richard Torres was last seen Monday at 1:30 p.m. on the 18800 block of Mauna Loa Avenue between Calera and Barranca avenues, the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

Torres is Latino, 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighs 225 pounds, has gray hair, brown eyes, a mustache and “MOM” tattooed on his left shoulder. He was last seen wearing a red shirt, black shorts and black shoes, authorities said.
