A motorcycle rider was critically injured Wednesday in a crash in North Hollywood that left him trapped beneath a box truck.
The crash was reported at about 10:50 a.m. Wednesday in the 6400 block of Lankershim Boulevard, north of Victory Boulevard, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Lyndsey Lantz.
Fire department personnel freed the trapped man, thought to be about 45 years old, Lantz said.
He was in critical condition when rushed to a trauma center, she said.
