Sheriff’s detectives Monday appealed to the public for help locating an 11-year-old girl with autism spectrum disorder who went missing from Lynwood.
Cherish Duhon was last seen at 9:50 p.m. Sunday on the 3000 block of Carlin Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Duhon is non-verbal and has a speech impediment, sheriff’s officials said. Her family is concerned for her well-being.
She is Black, 5 feet 2 inches tall, 109 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, white shirt with flowers, blue jeans and pink Jordan-style Nike shoes.
Anyone who has seen Duhon, or knows her location, was urged to call the Century Sheriff’s Station at 323-568-4800.
