Police Tuesday are searching for the suspect who shot a man near the Wrigley neighborhood in Long Beach.
Long Beach Police Department officers were called at approximately 11:53 p.m. Sunday to the 2000 block of Orange Avenue and Alamitos Avenue regarding a shooting, police said. When officers arrived at the scene, they found the victim suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to a hospital by Long Beach Fire Department personnel.
The suspect ran away before the officers’ arrival and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
