The death of a man at a Castaic home was under investigation Saturday.
The death was reported about 2 p.m. in the 32700 block of Ridge Top Lane, off Sierra Oak Trail and near The Old Road, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, sheriff’s officials said. His name and age were not released pending notification of relatives.
Additional information was not immediately available officially.
A news videographer who went to the scene said the response started with a report of an assault with a deadly weapon and video showed a woman and child leaving the scene in a vehicle.
