A 38-year-old man was arrested after reports of shots fired in San Jacinto Sunday.
Deputies responded to a report of gunshots heard in the 300 block of East Shaver Street around 12:40 a.m. Sunday, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department announced.
Upon arrival, deputies determined the shots originated from a residence within the block, and identified the suspect as Brandon Fiore of San Jacinto, according to the RCSD.
A search warrant for the residence was authored after Fiore allegedly refused to exit his residence.
The sheriff’s Special Enforcement Bureau was requested to assist, and Fiore was subsequently taken into custody without incident.
Deputies allegedly found multiple firearms and numerous rounds of ammunition, as well as evidence of a shooting in the backyard of the residence upon conducting the search.
Fiore was later booked into the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility on suspicion of negligent discharge of firearm, terrorist threats and obstructing a peace officer.
No injuries were reported.
Anyone with additional information was encouraged to contact Deputy Anderson Lauture at 951-654-2702.
