Firefighters battled heavy flames on the second floor of an Arlington Heights house Monday, preventing spread to an exposed structure.
The fire was reported at 9:52 p.m. Monday at 1510 S. Wilton Place, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
The large, two-story, craftsman-style house was boarded up and heavy flames were showing when firefighters arrived at the scene, Stewart said.
It took the 66 firefighters 36 minutes to put out the flames, she said.
No injuries were reported, Stewart said.
