A 78-year-old woman who vanished last year from Indio has been located, authorities said Tuesday.
A Silver Alert had been issued for Laura Ann Brown, who was last seen about 3:45 p.m. Nov. 20, 2025, at Jefferson Street and Avenue 48, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Indio Police Department.
CHP was notified of her disappearance on Jan. 14 and issued the alert to Riverside and San Diego counties.
The Silver Alert program is used to coordinate searches for missing elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
