A 29-year-old resident of the mountain communities who went missing during the holiday weekend was found safe Tuesday.
Minori Garcia Arreola reportedly vanished sometime Monday between Mountain Center and Idyllwild, prompting loved ones to contact the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
The agency said Arreola was found at an unspecified location Tuesday morning. She had not been harmed, though the specific circumstances behind her disappearance were not disclosed.
The region-wide alert that had been issued asking the public to be on the lookout for Arreola was cancelled Tuesday afternoon by sheriff’s officials.
