Two people were extricated Thursday after becoming trapped in a two-vehicle collision in East Hollywood.

The collision occurred at about 12:45 p.m. in the 1000 block of North Normandie Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Paramedics located two people trapped in the wreckage near the intersection of North Normandie Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard, the department said.

At least three individuals were involved in the collision, but none required hospitalization, LAFD spokeswoman Jennifer Middleton said.

The cause of the collision was under investigation.
