A 27-year-old man who was fatally shot at a taco stand in South Los Angeles was identified Monday.
Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Street Community Police Station responded at 1:17 a.m. on Feb. 16 to reports of a shooting near the intersection of Figueroa and 77th streets, a department spokesman told City News Service.
When they arrived at the scene, officers found the victim inside a vehicle with gunshot wounds.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics were called to the location, where the victim was pronounced dead.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner identified man Monday as Johnathan Gabarrete-Santiago, who sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
There was no suspect information.
