A Silver Alert has been canceled for an 80-year-old man who was reported missing in South Los Angeles, authorities announced Wednesday.
Jeff Johnson had last been seen at approximately 6 p.m. Tuesday at West 36th Street and Normandie Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert Tuesday on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Johnson has since been located, but details about when or where he was located were not provided.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
