A 73-year-old woman missing from Canyon Country has been located, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department announced Monday.
Verema Evelyn Jurado had last been seen at approximately 5 p.m. on Feb. 20 at Lakehurst Avenue and Ermine Street.
The California Highway Patrol activated a Silver Alert regarding Jurado on behalf of the sheriff’s department.
No details were released about Jurado’s condition and it was unclear when and where she was found.
