One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash Monday morning in the Lake Mathews area.
The crash was reported about 4:25 a.m. at the intersection of Gavilan Road and Multiview Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The victim was trapped inside one of the involved vehicles and died at the scene, according to the CHP.
