Authorities sought the public’s assistance Wednesday in locating the killer of a 40-year-old woman whose body was found in Lake Los Angeles last month.
Homicide detectives responded on Feb. 19 to the area of 140th Street East and East Avenue E after receiving reports of a deceased woman identified as Elena Rae Kazanes, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Details about Kazanes’ death remain limited.
