A train struck and fatally injured a pedestrian Wednesday morning in Glassell Park, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
The pedestrian was struck at about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in the area of 2705 Media Drive, just east of North San Fernando Road, according to LAFD spokeswoman Lyndsey Lantz.
Paramedics determined the victim was dead at the scene, she said, adding that the person’s age and gender were not immediately available.
No additional patients were located aboard or around the train, Lantz said.
