A motorcycle rider is in critical condition Saturday following a traffic collision with another vehicle in Van Nuys, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
Officers from the department’s Van Nuys Division responded to the area of Saticoy Street and Louise Avenue around 1:28 a.m. Saturday where they found the rider, who was suffering from significant head bleeding, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service.
The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics.
According to reports from the scene, the driver of the involved vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.
