At least three people were injured Sunday in a two-car crash in the unincorporated Willowbrook area of southeast Los Angeles County.
A witness told the California Highway Patrol at 9:40 p.m. Sunday that a dark sedan was racing before the crash at East Rosecrans Avenue and South San Pedro Street.
The witness also said one of the drivers was barely breathing, bleeding and remained inside one of the vehicles.
Video from the scene showed a red Lexus sedan on a sidewalk that apparently struck a tree with a man sitting on the sidewalk and a CHP officer in front of him. Paramedics were securing an injured woman next to the black sedan for transport to a hospital.
