A vehicle fire broke out Tuesday in Cabazon and extended to roughly 10-15 acres of vegetation, authorities said.
The non-injury blaze was reported shortly before 2 p.m. Tuesday at Almond Street and Bonita Avenue, according to the Riverside County Fore Department.
The agency said crews encountered the fire at a moderate rate of spread with a potential to spread across 20 acres. A total of 18 engines and one dozer were requested to assist at the scene.
The cause of the single-vehicle fire wasn’t immediately clear.
