Topanga Canyon Boulevard is set for overnight lane closures in the San Fernando Valley so that crews can paint new curb ramp locations as part of a pavement rehabilitation project, Caltrans announced Thursday.
“Work will take place overnight from as early as 7 p.m. to as late as 6 a.m. daily, starting Monday to Saturday, April 4 … between Devonshire Street and Mulholland Drive,” Caltrans’ Katy Macek stated in a news release. “Up to two lanes of traffic will be closed in both directions.”
Topanga Canyon Boulevard stretches from Chatsworth to Pacific Coast Highway.
The curb ramps are being painted red.
A 3.6-mile section of Topanga Canyon Boulevaerd between Grand View Drive and PCH had seen intermittent closures since January 2025’s Palisades Fire and subsequent rains, but the road reopened for daytime travel earlier this month.
The reopening came months ahead of schedule.
