Eight people were injured — including three children — in a crash in a Northridge intersection Saturday.

The crash was reported at 5:43 p.m. Saturday at 9200 N. Reseda Blvd., at Dearborn Street, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Jennifer Middleton.

Three vehicles were involved in the crash, Middleton said. A total of eight patients received care from paramedics prior to being taken to hospitals.

Two adults and three children were believed in serious condition and three adults were in fair condition, she said. Ages and genders were not available.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
