A man was taken into custody Monday after allegedly threatening a person with a firearm then holding police at bay for about 90 minutes in the Woodland Hills area.
Officers responded at about 1:55 p.m. to the 5600 block of Oso Avenue following reports of an armed barricaded suspect, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Details about what led to the suspect barricading himself remained limited.
Police said the man was taken into custody at about 3:30 p.m.
