A Silver Alert was activated Monday to help Whittier police locate a missing 67-year-old man.
Francisco Diaz was last seen at 10 a.m. Sunday at Alder and Hydro drives, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Diaz is Hispanic, 5 foot 3 inches tall, 165 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, wearing green shorts, a gray shirt and gray sandals. He was believed to have been on foot.
Anyone who sees Diaz or knows where he could be should call 911.
The CHP activates Silver Alerts when an elderly or developmentally or cognitively impaired person goes missing and is determined to be at risk to help local law enforcement find them quickly.
